As Urbanball prepares for its first major activations in the U.S., building strong relationships with authentic community leaders is a key part of our strategy. Josh has been a close friend of Sean Garnier for many years and has played an important role in developing and growing the street soccer culture throughout New York City and beyond.
More importantly, Josh shares the same vision that drives Urbanball: creating opportunities for players, celebrating street football culture, and building a global pathway that connects local communities to the international stage.
Over the past months, we have been working closely with Josh and the Play Makers team on the final preparations for our U.S. tour and activations, which will begin this summer following the opening of the World Cup festivities. Together, we aim to deliver unforgettable experiences for players, fans, and creators while establishing a strong foundation for long-term growth in the American market.
This partnership represents more than just a single event series. It is the beginning of a broader collaboration focused on community development, grassroots competitions, youth engagement, and the continued expansion of the Urbanball ecosystem throughout the United States.
We are excited to have Josh and Play Makers as part of the Urbanball family and look forward to building something special together as we prepare for an even bigger rollout in 2027 and beyond.
The movement continues to grow.
Welcome to the team, Josh.
